BEING SPOTTED ON OUR TRIP

Its a strange thing being on TV. People came over to us the whole time we were on vacation. A little girl ran over to me in Graceland, and said giggling, I saw you on TV. She seemed just as excited to meet us as being in Elvis's home. Then we got a quick snack, and a family recognized us and we all started talking about our Wifeswap experience.. This happened almost everyday. We were in Nashville at a club BB King with the boys and one of the band members came over to our table and said Wifeswap was his favorite show, and shook all our hands. Actually a day didn't go by without someone recognizing us in restaurants and on the street.

We traveled to North Michigan and enjoyed everywhere we went. Lake Michigan was beautiful and full of peace and harmony.

I felt a renewal of my soul. We met our friends, and stayed in Beulah in a rustic type Motel, the oldest one in Beulah. It was walking distance to the lake.
Everywhere we drove, there were trees and lakes. I forgot how beautiful our country is. The weather was perfect and the boys were away from their computers and enjoying nature. They went on Mopeds for their first time and enjoyed themselves. Beulah has one of the oldest drive in movies and the boys had a great time at the drive-in.

At first they were very resistent to going away, they didn't want to leave home, but I after the trip they admitted, it was one of the best getaways they have had. I have taken them many places and I believe travel is very important for children. It allows them to experience something different. They made friends with kids that live on an indian reservation and were humbled by a younger boy that taught them to ride their mopeds and who knew how to drive. Being on a long drive, bonded us as a family and that is the best part of the whole experience.
